About the Alton Water Ski and Wakeboard Club

The Alton Water Ski Club was founded on August 23, 1955. They were well known around the St Louis/ Southern Illinois area and performed at many special events in the area under the name Midwest Water Ski Show Productions. The Club was formed with the purpose of promoting the sport and recreation of water skiing, water safety, good sportsmanship, aquatic events, kindred and similar sports, and good fellowship. Board of Directors Elected at November Meeting

The 2012 Annual meeting was held on November 7, 2012 at the Thompsons home. During this meeting the new Board of Directors for 2013 were elected. Check out the contacts page to see who the new Board Members are for the next year.

The River Road Renegades are a not for profit organization that functions soley on donations to fund the clubs activities. In 2012 we performed our Home Show at our site on the Mississippi River every Thursday night. As always admission to our weekly shows is free. We have a high visibility site located on the Great River Road and Clifton Terrace the perfect place to put your company banner. Our website had over 20,000 hits in 2011 and continues to climb. We also handed out over 1000 ad books to spectators at our weekly shows. Join our growing list of sponsors below so we can continue to bring an attraction to the Godfrey area.
